Waitangi Tribunal Taihape District Inquiry – Week 12

Hearing Week 12 is scheduled to start Monday 18th – 20th November, 2019. This three day hearing will focus on a significant matter for our people in which additional research was commissioned by the Waitangi Tribunal on Landlocked lands. This hearing will be hosted at Moawhango Marae and will include a haerenga on the first day for the Tribunal Panel to go and see significant sites. Hearings will commence on Tuesday and end on Wednesday. The timetable for this hearing will be made available once it is finalised.
This hearing will center around the Maori Landlocked Blocks Report and evidence from Tangata Whenua witnesses.
