Kaupeka ki runga Kaupeka ki raro, Kui Kui, Whiti Whiti Ora

Barbara is the Chair of the Trust and one of the delegates from Te Runanga o Ngati Whitikaupeka; she is also a Trustee of the Kaupeka ki Runga Trust, Convenes Te Roopu Taiao O Mokai Patea and Chairs Nga iwi o Mokai Patea Services Trust.

Barbara’s has a management background in whanau hapu and iwi development, Hauora Maori and building capacity in the iwi environmental space over the past 25 years.  Barbara has spent the past 20 years working for her iwi in strategy, leadership and governance roles and currently sits on local and regional health Trusts and iwi Taiao organisations.
