Waitangi Tribunal Taihape District Inquiry – Hearing Week 9, March 18-21, Waiouru

Hearing Week 9 which was postponed in December 2018 has been rescheduled to start on Monday 18 March 2019 at Waiouru.  This week of hearings will be the Crowns response to evidence presented so far by Claimants to the Tribunal. This hearing will be hosted by the Crown at Rongomaraeroa-o-nga-hau e wha, the National Army Marae in Waiouru Army Camp Marae.  As more information comes out from the Waitangi Tribunal about the schedule and order of evidence for this hearing we will update you.

Its is expected this hearing will focus on the Cleaver Report “ ‘Maori and Economic Development in the Taihape Inquiry District, 1860-2013″, the NZ Defence and Department of Conservation (DOC) Evidence.
