Te Rūnanga o Ngāti Hauiti – Hapū Vacancies

NOTICE OF HAPŪ VACANCIES FOR TE RŪNANGA O NGĀTI HAUITI

Following the Ngāti Hauiti Rūnanga Elections that closed on the 14 September 2023 we still have vacancies in the following hapū:

  1. Ngāi Te Upokoiri
  2. Ngāti Whiti-Hauiti
  3. Ngāti Ruaanga
  4. Ngāti Hinetio
  5. Ngāti Rangiwhaiao
  6. Ngāti Hora
  7. Ngāati Tūumōokai
  8. Ngāti Hinemanu
  9. Ngāti Haukaha

Ngāti Hauiti invites further nominations for these vacancies.

To be eligible, candidates must be registered as affiliating to the Hapū they seek to stand in.
Candidates must be aged 20 years or older at the close of the nomination date of the election (12th Dec 2023) and be endorsed by an Adult Registered member (nominator), who also affiliates to the hapū which the candidate is standing for.

Each candidate must be nominated on a nomination form available from
mpwct@mokaipateaservices.org.nz or download here: Ngati Hauiti Nomination Form 2023.

Applications must be completed according to the application
guidelines.
Nominations close on Tuesday 12th December at 5pm.

Completed nominations must be in the hands of the returning officer by this date/time and can be submitted by email to mpwct@mokaipateaservices.org.nz.
