Governance is a dynamic space. The role of the hapu delegates is to lead and navigate
our people into the future, guided by the past.

Congratulations on thinking about standing as a hapū delegate.

Introduction

We have embarked on a transformative journey to embrace growth and progress in all aspects of our governance. One significant step towards this goal is transitioning from elections at the Marae that favour those that can be present on the day to running nominations and elections through an independent party.

By making this change, we aim to promote transparency, accountability, and fairness, allowing every member to have an equal opportunity to participate in shaping our collective future.

This shift reflects our commitment to empowering our people to prepare for new challenges and opportunities with unity and cohesion. Together, we stride forward, steadfast in our commitment to nurture a thriving and vibrant people for generations to come.
